playing Powerball
For the third time in its history, the Powerball jackpot has surpassed $1 billion, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). On July 19, 2023, a new drawing will take place.
Since there has been no winner since the Monday, July 17, 2023 drawing, the jackpot has been rolling over. In the drawing, the winning numbers were the white balls 5, 8, 9, 17, and 41, with the Powerball number being 21.
A jackpot winner has a 1 in 292.2 million chance of doing so. If the jackpot were to be won, the winner would have the choice to accept the cash award, which is presently valued at $516.8 million.
The biggest lottery jackpot ever is the Powerball one. The previous record, set in January 2021, was $2.9 billion.
According to MUSL spokesperson John Hagerty, the Powerball prize has been increasing for weeks and has now reached an extraordinary figure. “We’re eager to find out who the next lucky winner will be,”
Not only is the Powerball prize impressively high right now, but so are other lottery jackpots. The prize for the Mega Millions game is also $900 million.
Any authorised lottery retailer will let you buy a ticket if you’re feeling lucky. On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. ET, the drawing will take place.
Hagerty declared that this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Never pass up the chance to win if you’re feeling lucky.
To play Powerball, you must choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one number from 1 to 26.
The numbers you choose can be any combination of numbers, as long as they are all different.
You can also choose to have the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers for you.
If you match all five white balls and the Powerball, you win the jackpot.
If match all five white balls but not the Powerball, you win $1 million.
match four white balls and the Powerball, you win $50,000.
OR three white balls and the Powerball, you win $100.
There are other smaller prizes available for matching fewer numbers.
The cost of a Powerball ticket is $2.
Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
